FAQ
What is axe throwing and how does it work?
Axe throwing is a sport that involves competitors throwing an axe at a target.
After a briefing you and your friends will first learn the basics and then play a variety of games, all led by a trained throwing coach. He or she will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you plenty of tips along the way.
Axe throwing sessions are led by engaging throwing coaches who will guide teams through lessons on how to safely and effectively throw. As everybody becomes comfortable throwing and sticking their hatchets, their coach will conduct fun, simple, competitive games.
Are walk-ins welcome?
Yes, but we stronly recommend booking online as our walk-ins are based on availability.
Is axe throwing safe?
Absolutely. Safety is our number one priority.
Axe throwing is becoming increasingly popular throughout the United States. The format we use and the construction of the throwing lanes are all focused around the safety of the participants. We’ve built the lanes according to very strict safety standards.
Each competitor throws in his/her own individual lane and competes side-by-side with another competitor. We will have a throwing coach who is responsible for ensuring safety protocols are adhered to. Only the two active competitors throwing at that time are allowed within the throwing area, and all other competitors are required to wait in the safety zone behind the lanes.
Are there requirements to play?
You must be at least 16 years old and wear closed-toed shoes.
How many targets do we get?
Your group will get one or more private Axe Booths, depending on your group size.Â
Each Axe Booth includes 2 targets.
Do you serve alcohol?
Yes. We have a full bar located within the Axe Bar.
Can I bring my own axe?
No. For the safety of our visitors, we will only allow the use of our own axes.
